Dear Diary,

August 16th 2011. I was coming back from work and I was playing Fable II on Xbox 360 when I received a call. The person named was Tina and she wasn’t speaking French so obviously she was speaking in English. She told me that she was working for Buzznet.com or MCR thing (until now I didn’t even realize what was happening to me and for a couple of seconds I thought it was another sick joke of a friend of mine since I generally speak in French and not in English…) and finally that girl told me that I won a certain blog contest. As I was thinking about that during the show, I felt pretty lucky to have won. «Maybe I was the best blogger and what I wrote was so awesome so they picked me OR I was just the only one to participate the contest in Montreal…»

The thought made me laugh and my sister really enjoyed the show. I think she liked her gift. Even though I was mad at her when we quit the Bell center because she told me that we’d have a lift from her almost-but-not-really-boyfriend-because-she-doesn’t-want-to-tell-us, but finally we didn’t have one and I was tired of my day, we enjoyed the show (even though I really…really don’t know any songs from Blink-182 and that was the fail of the night). Let me tell you now a bit more about my experience as a photographer and the night I had, listening once again to one of my almost-favorite-band-because-I’m-fucked-up-and-I-feel-I-shouldn’t-have-a-favorite-band: My Chemical Romance.

As we arrived at the Bell Center almost late, we were a bit confused about the photo pass thing and even the security guard didn’t know about that. Almost 15 minutes later, they said that it was alright and I could go when they say I could. We had really good places. We weren’t that far from the stall I’ll say. Anyway, it had really good places. We began to listen to the Manchester Orchestra, which wasn’t bad, but the people weren’t really fired up. Let’s say that only 1/3 of the people were there. The other 2/3 was going to come later and watch Blink-182 obviously. My sister knew the band and it was cool to listen to them. After 35 minutes, they went away and then I realized that My Chemical Romance was coming after that. I was so excited to go take pictures. I was so fired up and I had a good camera too so I was expecting really nice pictures. The security guard told me that I could go and I joined up with others media and photographs who were expecting my venue. I was surprised and flattered at the same time, to be treated like one professional photographer. The only thing is…we couldn’t use the flash. Bloody hell that was difficult after to take pictures! Men they were moving everywhere! Of course, I couldn’t use the flash because that could be dangerous for the band. So I asked some questions to a photographer and the girl was really nice to me. She even accepted to analyze my shots after the show but I didn’t meet her after.

I was totally freaking out when the lights shut down. I was screaming like other fans and I could sense the crown behind me freaking out too. And then they came on the stage. Such power and energy screamed next to me while I was taking pictures. I think that were the best moments of my summer (I didn’t have a great summer so yeah I was really happy to have win and to be there but I’m kind of late for my blog. Sorry!) I was trying to sing and take pictures at the same time but it was difficult. And I still laugh at that because at one point I was so close to Gerard Way and he looked at me with the corner of his eye (I felt so special for 3 seconds). He was probably thinking: Why the hell is she so close? Or she’s wearing a MCR’s shirt, I want it too! (Laughs) Anyway, it was really amazing and I was surprised too. Frank was on fire that night and he was almost berserk on stage, the kind of behaviour he didn’t have at the concert I went to see a couple of months ago. Mikey was calm and Ray too. Gerard was moving everywhere and really into it. When I came back from the photographer spot, I could sense jealousy from people around me (maybe just my imagination). Anyway, they were really good that night.

The only problem was that they weren’t much MCR’s fans; people were going to see Blink-182 that night and not 45 minutes of My Chemical Romance. So I was the only dancing and singing from where I was and it was really funny because some girls behind me were giving dirty looks. I didn’t really care, but I felt a bit stressed because I was the only one doing that. I wish they could have played more songs, but they couldn’t. It wasn’t their show. At one point, balloons were sent to the crowd during the show so it was really cool and interesting. The lights were perfectly fitting the music and the beat. It was nice and each time they were playing a song, a picture of the album was appearing behind them on the enormous screen. They played songs like NaNaNa(NaNaNaNaNa), Mama, Helena, I’m not Okay, Famous Last Words, Welcome to the Black Parade, Kids from Yesterday, Destroya, Teenagers. You can imagine now what kind of pictures appeared (the spider vs the black parade). It was just a shame that it wasn’t the same intensity as before, at the Metropolis when I went to see them in April. It really wasn’t the same thing and I really wished that it would have been like that. It was such an epic show but the one I went to see this August was awesome too. It just wasn’t the same people, not the same place and not the same situation. For example, let’s say that because of the show in April, I broke up with my boyfriend a week later…probably because of My Chemical Romance. It really is funny because I remembered my old-self when I saw them that night. It was a good decision but that’s not the point right now.

After their show, I went to take a walk inside the Bell Center and met some really nice people. I had to take pictures of MCR’s fan so I did. I met a girl really nice and we talked a bit. When she realized that I was the winner, she totally freaked out and wanted to see the pictures I took. All her friends when to see her and they gave me a group hug. That was so nice and funny. It really was an intense moment.

Strangely, MCR’S fans are different from other bands. They are intense, deep and full of emotions. I think that they recognized themselves in the songs. They like the fact that My Chemical Romance can change but they keep the same fucking spirit. That’s what we liked. I remember that I was sad about the new album Danger Days: The true lives of the fabulous killjoys. The fuck men! I was totally wrong and I really like the new album. I know and I feel what they want to tell us. We are the fans shining brighter than any others and My Chemical Romance knows than we think. They give the same energy each time, even if they already went to that town or place. They are different. They are true and they want us to stay true. It is difficult but they are the companions we need. They fight against the sun.

Today is the last day when I'm posting photo to my 365 gallery..:(

It's kinda sad to me, I spent more than a year on taking photos and putting into this gallery, I always tried to share with you how my day looked and tell you how I felt.

When I posted first photo I didn't know that this whole project will interest me sooo much. I just thought it's another "fun" thing in my life.

Because of this 365 project I got closer with you guys. I wanted to tell you everything, sometimes of course were days when I had a bad mood and I didn't want to talk to anybody but those were just a few days.:) I also discovered how much I changed. My photoskills improved and when I was taking one photo I wanted to take another one but BETTER. And when I posted it here I was waiting when somebody will criticise me so that I could get my ass up and do something with that.

The weather is soo awful at my place now. You just can't imagine that.. It's rainning all the time..:/ And in my flat, the ceiling is leaking.. yeah licing at the 10th floor isn't as good as you think.. I just hope that the roof doesn't fall on our heads..ehh
